However, since finding a job is an extremely important milestone for any individual, a lot of troublemakers in the market try to take advantage of this. Candidates in their desperation to get a job get carried away and are ready to go to any length to obtain one. This weakness of jobseekers is what getting exploited by fake HR recruiters and bogus placement agencies. Several incidents of fraud have been reported and charged under the Indian law.

If a company offers jobs without an interview or offers high income for part-time jobs, they might be fraudulent. Work from home jobs are such examples where people think it is easy to work for few hours from home and earn some money. It is fake if the employers ask candidates to deposit certain initial amount to their account and they ask in the name of providing a job kit, etc.,.
4. Career Consulting Scams

These scams are really uncontrolled in the current Indian job scenario. In these frauds, career consultants contact you citing they’re impressed by your resume and want to represent you and help you get a job. In essence, it is a pitch of service that the agency wants to sell without revealing its hidden motive.
5. Recruiting Scams

Under recruiting scams, an agency contacts a candidate promising him or her a good job but only after he/she undertakes a specific training with them. For this training these agencies charge money and fake the candidates without offering them a job.
The Cyber Crime Department has confirmed filing of a lot of such cases of job frauds, however, a huge percentage of such scams go unreported due to guilt or embarrassment on the part of duped candidates.
